Percy Harvin has still not cleared the required NFL concussion tests and was held out of his second straight practice as the Seahawks prepare to face the San Francisco 49ers for the NFC Championship.
At Thursday’s press conference Seattle Coach Pete Carroll was asked whether there is a deadline when the team must decide whether Harvin will be available Sunday.
“There’s a deadline from the doctors, whenever they call it, they are the ones who are really in charge of this thing at this point. I don’t know when that is, they have to go through the process, ” said Carroll.
The Seahawks offense found ways to move the football through the air without Harvin who played in just two games this season. Golden Tate led the club with career high 64 catches and 898 yards, and expects the receiving group to play well with or without Percy Harvin.
“He’s (Harvin) explosive and fast. With him on the field that’s something they have to scout for,” said Tate. ”I think we’re fine without him. The last two seasons we really haven’t had him, and I think we’ve handled it just right. Obviously we want him on the field, but the show must go on.”

Seattle’s injury report was more encouraging for linebacker K.J. Wright (foot ) as he was listed as a full participant. DT Jordan Hill (groin) was limited. RB Marshawn Lynch was a full participant in practice after a non injury related day off.

Cornerback Carlos Rogers continues to be a primary injury concern for the 49ers. He was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice due to a hamstring injury. Running back Will Tukuafu (knee), was also limited.
Returning to full practice for San Francisco, DT Justin Smith (shoulder), Center Johnathan Goodwin (foot), and linebacker Navarro Bowman (illness)
